I hope you enjoy viewing my little friends as much as I enjoyed creating them. They are all one of a kind Artist mohair bears made by myself, some of which are my own design.
I mostly use mohair and also throw in some other fabric to enhance and create a look that I want to achieve. When making my artist bears I use a mixture of plastic pellets with some fibre on the large bears and small steel shots on the smaller bears. I find this works well and gives the right weight and feel that I want to achieve.
I enjoy creating big bears and most of them are over 15 inches, but sometimes I do like to create little bears. I generally go with what ever design is running around in my head at the time. Most of my bears funnily enough, come to me when I am just about to drop off to sleep. I find it helps if I keep a pencil and paper by the bed to remember my thoughts. Also many ordinary day to day things inspire me to create my designs and sometimes you will see this in my little friends.
If you have a specific friend that you would like to bring to life, requests are more than welcome ie: different colours, fabrics, sizes etc. So please either email or call, all enquiries welcome. All of my creations are one of a kind but similar ones can be made on request.
